AN ODE TO MY MENTOR

I am a seeker of knowledge
With unshakable faith in the Olympian
I wandered lonely as a cloud for years
But in vain

I questioned my inner self
for shattering my dreams
and preying my mind with awful thoughts.
 But my inner self spoke,” What have you to claim success.

Aimless you were
waiting to reach final destination.
…”Every existence”, it said, “in the universe
has a goal to achieve.

With a burning desire
and eager to taste the success of my goal.
I spurned my senses to stop my mind
from wayward thoughts.
After a series of failure
One book awakened my inner powers
… There in you, there’s success,
And unleashed the secret of my octopus powers

It powered my imagination and fired words;
It boost my confidence and set my goals;
It helped to focus my will on action with love
transforming my dreams into reality

I am ever indebted to my mentor, Shishir Shrivastava
For this change in my discipline
I thank my inner self to receive such great enlightenment
I thank Almighty to let my do my bit.

I am Mandar Milind Thakur , doing my Bsc.Physics in Bhavan's New Science college, Hyderabad. Inspite of having an orkut account, just have about 115 scraps over 2 years.I believe blogging would make my social networking more purposefull , hence I begin this by publishing my first post
